Positive reinforcements are to be rewards only for desired behaviors.
Suggested In Class Positive Reinforcement Rewards

FOR MOST BOYS AND GIRLS, TIME IN THE GYM TO PLAY BASKETBALL OR VOLLEYBALL.

Reward students with higher class participation grades.

Certificates awarded for persistent changes in behavior.

Free computer time.

Give students time to draw and paint.

If students earn enough points, they can purchase items from an approved list.

Each month we celebrate the class that has no tardies. Rewards are provided on a monthly basis such as popcorn, hot chocolate and ice cream.

If students don't get a referral within the given quarter, they will be invited to participate in planned activities for them (TBD).
