WELCOME

Thank you for visiting the Barstow Junior High School’s Athletic Site. It is our district's mission for all students to achieve academic excellence in a safe and nurturing environment. In partnership with families and the community, we will prepare each student to be a confident, contributing, productive and responsible citizen.

One of the many ways to grow a student interpersonally and emotionally, is to compete in interscholastic athletics. It is with great "Hawk Pride" that I am able to lead and foster an athletics program that can teach student’s valuable life lessons, build character, and prepare students for life after high school. The Hawk athletic program competes in the competitive High Desert Athletic League ( HDAL). We offer Wrestling, Volleyball, Basketball, Soccer and Track/Field.  We have been highly successful in many different sports throughout our long and illustrious history. We have wonderful administrators, teachers, parents, and community members that support our students throughout their high school careers and well after they leave.

It is with great pleasure that I invite you to our campus and to our sporting events to show support for our students and community! TOGETHER Barstow Unified  School District students can be successful within our athletic programs, our school district, and our community. For many decades athletics have been a great tool to prepare students for life after high school. With that in mind, we will continue to build and grow our athletics program, and evolve the programs to support our mission and our goal of student success.
